| Comments: | Re Mr Cooper's hair dye: Some time ago there was a Canadiens' player (can't remember offhand if it was Maurice Richard or Guy LaFleur) who was going a bit grey. His teammates used to carry a big bottle of Grecian 2000 with his number marked on it and leave it lying around the dressing room. They also used to pack a large curly black acrylic wig in his bag and fill his hairbrush with hairs off a big white Afghan hound belonging to another player. During the 70s the biggest joker on the team was Guy LaPointe (currently assistant coach with the Calgary Flames). To get their own back his mates once posted his false teeth back home while they were on an extended road trip. If Detroit win this damn Cup, I'm giving up hockey and turning to quilting.... |

I know it puts the women's rights movement back a few generations, but some men do own things that are female, and vice versa (and I'm not talking about pets!). Besides, Jon doesn't see me as female, he sees me as a jacket. He doesn't think that I have a mind of my own (come to think of it, not many people do feel that inanimate(?) objects can think for themselves and have any kind of life for themselves). | Comments: | I've changed the view of the Guestbook so it is inside a table. Do you like it or not? It saves having an entry separater like a line and it is easier to see the information. The only thing is that if you write something that is one word and long (ie a URL etc) then it goes off the side of the screen. If anyone posts anything of stupid size then I'll have to delete the message. Also, if you are using Netscape (4) Communicator (PR3) then the text is much bigger than it is in Netscape 3 and so (this will be the same for all Web sites) much less info will fit on the screen. This is because Netscape 4 defaults a font size of 12 for variable width fonts, so for *MUCH* better layouts on ALL Web sites, change the size to 11 from the EDIT / PREFERENCES. |

| Comments: | Storm did Sh*t last year, ok we admit it, so why sack the coach and call the best players. So we did badly, it was our first season, what do you expect. We had some bad players, MARK can fight but can't pay hockey PALLISTER, and HILTON I use to be good but now i'm old RUGGLES, but both JOHN FINNIE, and ERIC RAYMOND did well, NICK POOLE was a high scorer, as was MIKE MORIN, STE COOPER is classed as one of the best defencemen in Britain. DALE JAGO is superb, and BART VANSTALL??????? also did pretty well in the short time he was at the storm. |

| Comments: | Just a quick visit. I've got a major disaster on my hands. As well as signing this guest book, I also like to sign others, such as the Devils' and the Steelers' guestbooks, but at the moment, I can't get access to them, as there is nothing here that I can find to get to them, and I don't have the relevant addresses. So please, with sugar on the top, from one hockey fan to another, can someone leave the addresses here for me? Some quick messages : Elanor, the Storm are in Europe because they were invited in on a wild-card entry. They didn't take Cardiff's place, it was given to Sheffield. (Incidentally, I think it sucks, but I doubt Sheffield pulling out will let Cardiff in.) Grazer, the name "Leeds Lazers" sucks about as much as their team probably (and hopefully) will! The "Misconduct" team, thank you for saying that Dale 'Tooms' Jago wants to stay - I've been saying that since Christmas, as he told me so himself. If (and personally, I hope it's a big one(?), he does go somewhere else, it's not because he particularly wants to leave Manchester. ????, whoever you are, Hilton Ruggles sucks more than a baby does on it's dummy (baby being an apt word)! | Comments: | Quite a good idea to get rid of "Inter"..too many negative connotations when your club is regularly buried by the opposition! Never mind..another year looms and all is possible. On into the new season, hockey sticks akimbo.... If you get any coverage of the World Championships watch for Jarome Iginla..19 years old, plays for Calgary and could be the next great power forward. He is good defensively too, but probably will not be named 'Rookie of the Year' due to a bit of a slump towards the end of the season. Berard of the Islanders will probably get it. Cheers Stephanie |
