At last night's game I picked up a copy of
the letter explaining how the season ticket
is being amended to take account of the SEVEN
Express Cup games (given that originally only
FIVE 'Spring-Cup' games were included). A copy
be coming through the post, but the key item is:
* we get the extra Cup games
* we don't now get the second two Superleague
play-off games.
I wonder why Ogdens have done this? Surely they
can not have doubted that we would have happily
paid extra for the two (probably mid-week)Cup
games.
We often read/hear what a fantasic set of
suporters we are (I do mean everyone, not just
season ticket holders). Ogdens also stress
the 'Family' element of the sport. Well, did they
really think about those supporters (particularly
the younger family members) when scheduling
four out of the seven Cup games for mid-week
dates? (Five if you include 30 December).
Oh well. Time to get off the soap-box.
