The Carolina Hurricanes (nee Hartford Whalers) are playing out of Greensboro, about 80 miles from Raleigh until the new arena in Raleigh is finished (about 2 years.)
The IceCaps have already announced they will move after this season, I think to Augusta, Georgia.
