I heard something interesting a week or so
ago while talking to a former storm player
(Finnie). He said he'd been talking to a
player who has been with the Storm for the
past 2 seasons. HE said that he and certain other
players where not too happy anymore in
Manchester as they where not having so much
fun (as opposed to last season I presume).
Well Coops (for it was he) you and your mates
aren't been paid up to £700 a week to have fun. You
are being paid to be a professional hockey player,
start behaving like one. If its fun you want
take a major pay cut and drop down a league, where
you can have plenty of fun playing on a losing team.
End of sermon....sorry....I'm annoyed...some
of our players are yet again taking the mickey.
It's annoying when you have an ultra professional, commited
coach, who is used to the same professionalism
from his players, and some players who just want a fat pay
check and lots of fun.
