Well having been to Nottingham and this is nothing against Nottingham arena but you only have to look around to be able to see why they fans have more money for players. Out of our money for season tickets and those who pay on the night Ogdens have to pay the money for lighting, staff such as the blue coats and the purple coats and then how do you expect the mountains of chips burgers and nacho's to be cooked and served. It all mounts up to the total cost
per game of Ice hockey and thats before they get to the players wages so just think when you sit in a coffie seat and compare us Nottingham set up to us it costs ogden's an awful lot more money to do what Nottingham do at half the price.

You also site the Giants as an example of ticketing prices, Ogdens who run the ice hockey team I think I am right in saying that they only sort of rent Nynex to the company that runs the Giants that is why there merchandise is not run by Ogdens and thus it is two companies pricing ideas, Im not saying that Ogdens are right because I also think that there should be a family ticket plus a family season ticket, but all we can do is keep voicing these opinions to Ogden's in the hope that one day they will take it all in.
The reason I suspect also that the Giants tickets are cheaper because they are try to promote basketball because last year Ice hockey seemed to take of in a big way the Giants however found it difficult to get the numbers thus the marketing machine kicks in and it seems to have worked because I am told that at some game they are getting crowds of about 8-10,000 so it must be working
