Hmm....indeed .... what a damn fine game.
What a damn fine team.
I'm finding it difficult NOT to be over-confident, like a lot of you, I keep trying to convince myself that these two results in the Tournament were a fluke, or that the other teams weren.t really trying .... but .... none of them wash really do they.
The words that spring to my mind for this new team are - BIG, STRONG and FAST. The 1st line looks awesome. Fastest in the league, with Judson and Ketola. (If the lines stay as is that is) The 2nd line looks full of ...... character?!?! In other words, don't mess with any of them! And the 3rd and 4th look equally solid in most areas. I'm well impressed with the team's performance, fitness and attitude. And much as I cringe to say it, perhaps Lawless WAS lacking in something ...... however, it should never be fogetton that he started the ball rolling. And for that alone, hes due respect.
So .... has Dave done enough to earn his shirt yet? I hope so .....
Roll on next Sunday ...... I hope we wipe them out!!!!!
