Time for a bit of imagination.
Try to imagine you are in charge of Away travel for the supporters club. You know you have enormous demand for a game, but the rink are only offering 200 tickets. People have paid 7 pounds so that they may get a better chance to getting to away games, do you
a) Take as many tickets as possible and try to honour the promise to take those who ahve paid there 7 pounds,
or
b) send some tickets back, and even less of thsoe who have paid 7 pounds get to go to the game.
Think this is unfair, try getting tickets for Manchester United away games. You need to be members of the supporters club, season ticket holders, win in ballots, etc. etc.
It comes from having huge demandand little supply, the fairest way of giving out tickets is to the ones who have paid the be memebers of the Official Supporters Club.
Problem will only get worse as more and more people are travelling away from home to the smaller rinks.
Those of you there remember what happened before the recent league game (which we lost 7-1) in Cardiff, that fiasco.
