I know what you're saying about being happy with a third place finish,and I suppose I would
be too,as it would represent our improvement on last year.But,hang on a minute.The 19 players
in Storm uniforms this year have all played at or very near the top of their profession.Some very nearly had NHL careers,so we should be a match for anyone.The only reasons why Moscow and Prague should beat us is a)They
have been together much longer than we have,and b)They get much better ice time in practise.with a),we can in time improve,but b}
will always be a problem until we get around to having our own practise facility.I understand that the proposed new rink in Altrincham was turned down for lottery cash because 'There is already a major rink in Manchester'-er-since when was the Nynex an ice rink
