Well I'm going to be controversial here.....I think that Rob Trumbley is a very good hockey player. However I think that he has been brought in to do a job which is to intimidate the oppostion. I am in full agreement that at least two of the checks he made last night were shocking - from behind at neck height, these are so dangerous that he should have been thrown out of the game. I also think that the pantomim estyle booing that the crowd subjected him to BEFORE he had done anything wrong can only boost the ego of a player like this and drive him to seek more crowd reaction.
