The Manchester Storm Message Forum FAQ

To follow is a brief explanation of some of the questions you may have about the Manchester Storm Message Forum.

What's it all about?

The Manchester Storm Message Forum is a great way to discuss Manchester Storm and UK ice hockey with other Into The Storm visitors. You can start a new subject by posting a new message or reply to something that is already there.

Isn't that the same as the Guestbook?

Well, yes and no. The original intention of the Guestbook was for first-time visitors to Into The Storm to leave their comments for all to see, but it quickly turned into a discussion group with most users using it many times. Added to that, a Guestbook is difficult to follow as the newest entry is the first one that you see and most first-time users will quickly get confused. Therefore a new message board facility seemed the answer!

Can I put HTML tags anywhere in my posts?

No. You can not use HTML tags at all in the posts. They won't work so don't even try!

Why didn't my post show up?

Your post most likely did not show up, because your browser did not reload the frame, it simply pulled it out of cache. Please reload the frame and it should then appear. DO NOT reload the whole page with the button at the top of the screen or you will return to the main Into The Storm page - use the right click feature instead.

Where can I get the scripts for this program?

Into The Storm has used and adapted these Perl scripts that were created by Matt Wright. They are free to anyone who wishes to use them and you can get these as well as others at: http://worldwidemart.com/scripts/.
